In 2013 the National Botanical Garden played host to the "Death Plant". I went to see the plant (I avoided the smell-hince the name) and afterwards enjoyed the setting sun in my favorite park-Bartholdi Park. As well as the Capitol Building and surrounding areas on the National Mall.
